Assist in the design and execution of MQT and CT programs by providing administrative support to the AOC’s formal training program.
Major Activities (Typical Duties/Responsibilities)
Anticipate, identify and incorporate training requirements generated by programmed changes.
Assist in preparing for Higher headquarters Unit Compliance and Operational Readiness Inspections.
Assist training managers in accomplishing training objectives through scheduling students for MQT and CT.
Assist in conducting and identifying trend analysis and unit-training shortfalls through Advanced Distance Learning System (ADLS) to the senior unit leadership.
Assist in the development and enhancement of deployment folders for duty personnel and positions, via Learning Management System (LMS) or other unit directed program.
Participate in review, analysis, and feedback on multiple computer-based training system programs and Unit Manning Document (UMD) issues monthly.
Assist with managing programs to include task management, drug demand reduction, fitness, ADPE accounts and inventory, evaluation, special awards security and supply.
Assist in the coordination and management aspects of the Computer Systems Account (CSA) process/system/duties as well as computer support assistance and IT related issues.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities
Be familiar with the AOC Weapon System and operational training requirements.
Capable of working independently and must be able to review current and future training and exercise plans, AF instructions and joint publications with the purpose of making recommendations on improving and incorporating them into unit training programs.
Skilled in the use of software/hardware/e-mail systems (Microsoft Office) currently in use by USAFCENT.
Must possess an active Secret security clearance and meet all associate security requirements.
Drug Screen and Background Check: Pass with the ability to maintain throughout employment.
Minimum Experience
At least three (3) years’ experience in an AOC
Three (3) years’ experience at the USAFCENT, NAF, or other service equivalent headquarters level.
Three (3) years’ experience in managing and providing computer support assistance
Bachelor’s Degree or five (5) years’ experience with the Air Operations Center or Theater Air Control System is mandatory.
