MATERIAL HANDLING LABORER

 

Major Duties: These positions are assigned to the Lincoln Place and Springfield Warehouse locations. Shall be trained by the Contractor in moving techniques and Springfield Warehouse duties, as appropriate, before beginning work on the contract. They may also be tasked to assist with services required in the supply room. Other moving services within the scope of work may be assigned as required by the COR through the contractor Lead Supervisor.

 

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Shall be able to read, write and speak English fluently, and be fully trained in the requirements of this contract. An experienced material handler is defined as having more than two years of direct experience. Shall be physically able to perform the assigned work which includes lifting boxes weighing up to seventy-five (75) pounds independently but will be required to move heavier with assistance.  

This position requires a current SBU level security clearance.
