General Function 

Provides facility management services supporting academic, dormitory, athletic spaces, and grounds at the United States Air Force Academy. Confers with individual facilities managers to indentify, follow-up, and resolve facility operations, maintenance and repair requirements.  Work order and inventory management experience preferred.  Personnel must be able to be contacted via telephone, cellular phone, e-mail at all times during normal working hours and during events.

Major Activities (Typical Duties/Responsibilities)

Good analytical, written and verbal communication, and leadership skills; strong attention to detail; ability to use accounting, spreadsheet, enterprise resource planning, and desktop publishing software; familiarity with scanners, photocopiers, mobile phones, and calculators.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Required International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
  • 5+ years’ experience operating and monitoring the buildings and grounds of an organization, corporation, institution, or any other entity that has significant physical property (required).
  • Experience managing academic or military facilities. 

Clearance: Secret (preferred) or ability to obtain clearance
