Major Duties: This position is assigned to Lincoln Place location. This type of work shall require the applicant to have experience in receiving supplies and equipment from a variety of sources. The shipping/receiving clerk shall take direction from the Supply Technician; perform clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping goods of the establishment in which employed and receiving incoming shipments. Shipping duties typically involve the following: verifying that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents; insuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles, and preparing and keeping records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading. Receiving duties typically involve the following: verifying the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records, checking for damaged goods, insuring that goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the establishment, and preparing and keeping records of goods received. This position is required to use SCLogic.   

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Shall be able to read, write, and speak English fluently, and be fully trained in the requirements of this contract. Shall have one year of specialized experience in operating an on-line workstation, Supply Inventory Management System. Knowledge and experience using the latest version of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite Software packages. Shall be physically capable of performing work assigned, which includes lifting boxes weighing up to seventy-five (75) pounds. Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time daily.

This position requires a Sensitive but Unclassified security clearance.
